Miss Gianna Locante is a dedicated Pennsylvania-certified teacher and a proud graduate of Temple University, where she earned her degree in Early Childhood Education (Pre-K 4 through 4th grade). Born and raised in Philadelphia, PA, she is now in her second year teaching in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia and feels incredibly blessed to bring her passion for faith and learning into the classroom each day. She is also a member of Resurrection of Our Lord Parish.
With a heart full of joy and creativity, Miss Locante is known for her positive spirit and whimsical teaching style, creating a warm, imaginative classroom where students feel safe, loved, and excited to learn. She treasures the Pre-K 4 year for its joyful “firsts”—first friendships, first prayers, first sparks of confidence—and sees each child as a gift from God, full of promise and purpose!
A source of deep inspiration in her life is her favorite saint, Saint Gianna Beretta Molla. Saint Gianna was an Italian pediatrician who dedicated her life to children and families. Saint Gianna’s example continues to guide and affirm Miss Locante in her own vocation as a Catholic educator.
Outside the classroom, Miss Locante enjoys embracing her playful side. She loves visiting museums, crafting, and hunting for her next silliest pair of earrings—something her students absolutely adore and look forward to each day!
God Bless!
